Winifred "Winnie" G. Frendo. Age 79. Passed away March 5, 2014 after a short illness. Beloved wife of the late Charley Frendo. Loving mother of Paul (Lana) Frendo and Susan (Adam) Seccombe. Proud grandmother and Mimi of Ryan, Sean, Megan, Jonathon and Sarah. Dearest sister of Gordon (Carol) Brodie and the late Cathrine Koos. Dear sister-in-law of Robert Koos and Vic (Audrey) Frendo. Winnie was very dedicated to St. Sebastian Catholic Church. She spent much of her time volunteering at the parish office, helping out at festivals, singing in the church choir or assisting wherever else she was needed. Winnie was president of the St. Anne Altar Society. She also volunteered as a reading mentor at Madison School in Dearborn Heights. Visitation at Hackett-Metcalf Funeral Home, Sunday 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 6:00 p.m. Instate Monday at St. Sebastian Catholic Church, 10:30 a.m. until the time of Mass at 11:00 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Sebastian Catholic School.
