Zachary John Potter. Age 32. Passed away January 9, 2014. Loving son of Timothy (Lisa) Potter and Janice Juntti. Favorite brother of Melissa Beck, Emily (Kofi "Mike") Baker, Jordan Potter and Morgan Potter. Cherished uncle of EmmaMae and Laila Baker and JT "J-Tizzle" Beck.
Zachary was loved by all. He will be missed by his aunts, uncles, cousins and by his military family and countless friends.

Zachary served his country by enlisting in the National Guard. As a result of his commitment to his country and the National Guard he served two tours in Iraq with the United States Army. Zachary's dedication to service did not end after he was honorably discharged from the military. He continued to serve his community by volunteering at Fish & Loaves Food Pantry in Taylor, Michigan, The Millman's NRG Foundation in Farmington Hills, Michigan and The Michigan Wounded and Returning Warrior Program.

Visitation will be Monday, January 13, 2014 from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with Veteran's Service at 7:00 p.m. at Hackett-Metcalf Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at Hackett-Metcalf Funeral Home. Interment will take place following the Funeral Service at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan.
